O.k., last night's rehearsal was great! We didn't play any of the dance tunes, and went straight on into the Jazz stuff. Lots of playing and loads of fun! Ron told us that we also now have an outdoor gig on October 14. (Same date as the Wash. Symphony's first concert.)

On the financial front. I was denied unemployment because I "have a bona fide oppertunity to work in the next academic year" Meaning.. Tough S#it, Fort Pitt! I am sick and tired of people who abuse the system getting all of the $$$ they want to buy drugs, booze and hookers, and a guy like me gets screwed over because the market isn't condusive to someone only requiring part time work of 15-20 hours a week. What a joke!
