What does it all mean?

This week has been one of turmoil. I started out the weekend at my friend Larry's. He is moving to Terre Haute, Ind. at the end of the month. He has had a rough go of it until he decided to change everything. He now is finishing up his PhD in education @ IUP, and will be teaching at Indiana State University in the fall.. It's hard for me to explain what some of my friends mean to me. Sometimes, I just try to make a joke to cover the anguish in my heart. (As my dad used to say to me, men don't cry, unless they get kicked in the balls..) I guess that's why, when I say that I'm feeling abandoned. Everyone I care about deeply is (or in some cases, has) left. My ever changing circle of friends is now getting smaller at the core, even though I know that God's plan for me is still unclear, and that no matter how far some people are, they are just as close as an email, phone call or IM. You still miss the person being there.
