On Sunday, a man with unbelievable charisma and a wicked sense of humor left this earth. George Carlin was a pioneer of comedy. He made do something that was a bit impossible... Made you think while you laughed your ass off..
His routine,"Seven Words You Can't Say on Television" is probably his most brilliant work.
I remember on Valentine's Day 1986, my parents met up with some old friends of theirs, and they went out for a night on the town. It was the first night I was ever left home alone, and I stumbled onto my dad's stash of records.. Mostly moldy country, but there was this album called "Class Clown." I was intrigued, and decided to put it on the record player. What I got was about 50 minutes of "pee my pants" comedy. I have often taken a line of George's and made it mine.. (I used to be protestant, now I'm Orthodox, you know, you grow..)
Farewell George, may you watch us on HeavenlyCNN..
P.S.--> You might need to find another place for some of your stuff..
