St. Nick's Football League: Week 1 "Rivalry Week"

Rivalry Week 1 started off with a bang and the stout Philadelphia defense
lead Stanley Nickels over the Adrian "Yep, I'm the man!" Peterson led
SteelLoboda. Also leading the way for the Nickel's was Maurice "Two names
for the price of one" Jones-Drew. Unfortunately, SteelLoboda's Donovan
"China Doll" McNabb suffered an rib injury, and might miss a few weeks.

In a sorted twist of events on Cardiac Hill, LadyGraff annihilated
NateDawg. Leading the way for LadyGraff, was the QB duo of Peyton "Eli's
Big Brother" Manning and Tom "I'm the Baby Daddy" Brady. While Drew
"Summer" Brees led all quarterbacks with 114 points, and was the only
bright spot in Happy Valley.. But we all know that a Lily wins that
match-up every time!

Phantom Regiment 297.50
Crusaders                 322.00

A molten quagmire in Brooke, WV met the visiting Phantom Regiment as they
took on the Crusaders. Tony "I'm too sexy for Jessica Simpson" Romo and
the New England Patriots Defense led the charge against their heavily
favored, and loud smack talking opponents. While the crew from Rockford,
Ill suffered the effects of the Madden Curse, as Pittsburgh Safety Troy
"Elder Paiasios" Polamalu was injured in the second quarter and Wide
Reciever Larry "No, No.. He was out of bounds" Fitzgerald was held in
check by the S.F. 49ers. (What, you've got to be kidding me???)

As for week 2, (Picnic Week) the schedule is as follows:

Phantom Regiment travels to steeltown to face SteelLoboda
Stanley Nickels heads to Happy Valley to face NateDawg and
LadyGraff is off to Brooke, WV to play Crusaders
